Zoom Phone Pricing 2026: What You Will Actually Pay

By the Best Business Technology Advisory Team. Updated July 2026.

The value pick: serious telephony at aggressive prices, with AI included.

Best for: meetings first organizations

Zoom Phone is the price aggressor of business voice, and unusually for this category, its published prices are close to what many buyers actually pay. The complexity hides elsewhere: in the difference between standalone Zoom Phone and the Workplace bundles, and in calling plans and usage once you leave simple domestic calling. This page lays out both. For how Zoom compares to the rest of the market, see our Best UCaaS Providers ranking.

What you will actually pay

List prices as published in July 2026 for standalone Zoom Phone, billed annually. Bundles and volume quotes land lower per seat.
PlanList priceWhat it adds
US & Canada Meteredabout $10 /user/moFull phone system; outbound calls billed per minute
US & Canada Unlimitedabout $15 /user/moUnlimited domestic outbound calling
Global Selectabout $20 /user/moUnlimited domestic calling in one of 40+ countries

The bundle math matters more than the tier math. If your team already pays for Zoom meetings, the Workplace bundles that include phone service often price the voice component lower than buying it standalone, and Zoom's AI Companion is included rather than sold as an add on. Buyers coming for phones alone should still price the bundle; it is frequently the better deal.

What moves the price

  • Bundle versus standalone. The single biggest lever. Zoom prices Workplace bundles to move, and phone inside a bundle routinely beats phone alone.
  • Calling patterns. Metered plans look cheap until outbound volume grows. Teams that live on the phone belong on unlimited plans; teams that mostly take inbound calls can genuinely save on metered.
  • International footprint. Global Select covers one country per user. Real multinational calling needs a mix of plans and add ons that deserves a line by line quote.
  • Seat count and term. Zoom discounts at volume like everyone else, and annual billing beats monthly by a wide margin.

Contract factors to watch

  • Metered overage. Per minute charges are billed in arrears and surprise people. If usage is uncertain, model a realistic month before choosing metered.
  • Hardware. Zoom Phone works well with bring your own devices, but certified desk phones are a real cost if you are replacing a fleet. Price them in the same negotiation.
  • Plan mixing. You can mix metered and unlimited seats across one account. Vendors rarely volunteer this; it is often the cheapest correct answer.
  • Renewal pricing. Promotional first year bundle pricing steps up at renewal. Ask for the renewal number in writing before you sign.

The honest summary: Zoom Phone is the value play of the category and its pricing is unusually transparent, but the right answer between standalone, bundle, and plan mix is genuinely situational. Exact pricing is quote based at volume. We pull real numbers across Zoom and every serious alternative at once, free, and we are paid the same standard referral commission whichever provider you choose.
